Here are some ChatGPT prompts you can try:

"I have a one on one review with my manager, I am working as Software Engineer making $80k per annum, I achieved this, this, and this in the last six months. Give me a script to negotiated $100k+ salary in my review meeting with my manager."

// job hunting:

"I was recently laid off, searching for Software engineering position. I am an expert in ReactJS, NodeJS, and Python - write resume bio and a cover letter for me."

2. Who needs fair compensation anyway, eh?!

Remember - if your employer is hiring you for $70k job, they are most likely making 10x that amount off of you.

So - ALWAYS NEGOTIATE!

3. Barbarian style salary negotiation

Yeah - that’s one way to negotiate higher salary. jk!

4. Throw away stock options... sad no millionaire ever!

My opinion - if you are working at some company you are most likely rooting for it to "exit" - making you big banks.

So, only negotiating salary and not the stock options is a bad advice - always.

• 3 price anchors - determine three different salary figures - low, medium, and high

  • lower end is the number you’d never go below

  • medium number is your happy number

  • high number is what you speak out loud and start the negotiation at

• 3 valuable contributions

  • three key ways you can contribute the most value to your organization

  • it could be skills, experience, knowledge transfer, mentoring

  • highlight how they add value to your company

• 3 alternative benefits

  • salary is NOT the only thing that can be negotiated

  • what else is valuable to you? make a list of 3 things

  • extra vacation? more stock options? cash bonus?… what else?
