Colorful Cat Shirt
Why I chose this product:
To show you what do NOT work in AI-generated designs.
Please don’t use AI-generated art as is (like this one above). That strategy is already tried and tested, and saturated.
Only shops making money by randomly pasting ai-generated art on products are the ones who have already gotten big.
How can you replicate it on your store (giving your own twist):
If you want to do AI-art print on demand, you absolutely need to stand out from the crowd - by choosing a hyper specific niche.
Here’s how to find a hyper specific niche in summary:
Choose your high level niche: eg - Pets
Choose one level deep niche to that: eg - Cats or Dogs
Choose another level deep niche: eg - Golden Retriever lovers
And, then make AI-generated designs for that hyper specific niche.

Why I chose this product:
To show how your product images should be
Include images showing your products in use - don’t just drop mock ups on Etsy
When you show products in use - your audience can relate to it on a deeper level which in turn increase your chances of conversion
How can you replicate it on your store (giving your own twist):
Use tools like Printify and Printful to generate your mock ups
They already have a lot of mock ups that show your designs in use.

Floral Skull T-Shirt
Why I chose this product:
This is a great example of hyper specific niche.
Search Etsy for “gothic colorful art” and you’ll find a ton of them
How can you replicate it on your store (giving your own twist):
Another benefit of doing hyper specific niche is that they are low in competition
For example: if you target keywords like “Dentist Gifts” - you’d be competition against 100k other product listings.
But, if you instead target keywords like “iOS Developer Gifts” - you’d only be competing against a few thousands.
So, when just starting - always for got low competition longtail keywords.

Why I chose this product:
To show you how easy it is to make AI-generated art, but not so easy to monetize them.
You’d find thousands of listing on Etsy that are literally selling AI-art bundles.
If some designs are so easily available - don’t you think everyone would be using them.
How can you replicate it on your store (giving your own twist):
This brings me back to my original argument - yes, AI generated art is still profitable, but only if you play your cards right.
That reminds me of another specific niche - search for “colorful tarot card”.
Only 2k results - that means, people are searching, but there isn’t much competition for it.
Cheers,
